My 17-year career spans medical, surgical, burn and cardiothoracic ICUs, bush hospital nursing in Papua New Guinea and sexual assault forensic nursing, before transitioning to college health and community health education program assessment, development, implementation and evaluation. After taking a very long pause in paid employment to be a FT parent, I am returning to a career in functional nursing. I am currently working as a public health nurse home visitor in rural Oregon, as a Babies First! and CaCoon nurse.
While presently working on nurse coach training for certifications in holistic nursing and nurse coaching, I am at the same time, thrilled to be participating in Cohort 2 of IFN's Functional Nurse Program, along with the opportunity to connect in this functional nursing community!
