Business Operations Coordinator

Heidi Chase serves as the Business Operations Coordinator for The Institute for Functional Nursing, where she supports the organization’s daily operations and digital presence. 

Heidi brings over 16 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant, with a background spanning urgent care, occupational medicine, and family practice. This hands-on clinical experience gives her a strong understanding of healthcare systems, patient care, and the importance of efficient, well-coordinated operations.

Following her husband’s retirement from the U.S. Navy, Heidi and her family spent time traveling across the United States before settling in Montana. Her journey into functional nursing has been both professional and personal. She is grateful to be part of an organization that continually supports her growth, and she actively applies what she learns to improve her own health and her family’s lifestyle, embracing an 80/20 approach to sustainable wellness.

Outside of work, Heidi enjoys sightseeing, traveling, crafting, and photography. She values time with her family, including her grown child who lives in Washington State with their fiancé.
