Dr. Ashley Shrader is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner with a deep passion for gut, hormone, and brain health. Her work is rooted in both professional expertise and personal experience—after navigating burnout, autoimmune disease, and her mother’s ALS diagnosis, Ashley turned to functional medicine to address the root causes of chronic illness and reclaim her health.
She is a ReCODE 2.0 Certified Practitioner, a Registered Yoga Teacher, and a long-time advocate for integrative healing that includes mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
She holds advanced training in hormone optimization, SIBO, and cognitive decline, and has served as an item writer for the Institute for Functional Medicine’s board certification exam. Through her practice—Rise Functional Medicine—she helps active individuals and athletes optimize performance, restore vitality, and address chronic symptoms by uncovering and treating their root causes.
Outside of the clinic, Ashley can be found trail running, reading in a sunny spot, or exploring nature with her husband, Tony, and their daughter, Seneca.
