Caroline E. Ortiz, PhD, MPH, RN, NC-BC, is an Associate Professor at Pacific College of Health and Science and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the California Institute of Integral Studies. A holistic nurse and board-certified nurse coach, Dr. Ortiz is committed to advancing holistic health through education, research, and community service.

She developed a Spanish-language guided meditation library for Belleruth Naperstek’s Health Journeys and volunteers with the National Association of Hispanic Nurses and the Integrative Health Project, expanding culturally responsive care.

Dr. Ortiz apprentices in the Mesoamerican healing tradition of curanderismo, deepening her connection to ancestral wisdom and knowledge.
